Up at 3 for fireguard, then formation at 4, so it was an early morning. After standing at ease for about 20 min, we went to get our ACU’s. We got in around 0700, and didn’t get out until 1300. We were supposed to be somewhere else at 1030, so… I think the problem is our platoon has 60 people in it, when most of the others have around 20. I got to talk to some guys who are already in BCT, I think in week 6, and that was pretty cool. Thy made me feel better about it by saying the insanity doesn’t last for long. I’m still worried about those first few days though… I have fireguard again tonight, this time from 0200 to 0300 so that sucks, I’m going to bed.
