Best/worst day so far. I’m not feeling great as I write this, and I’m a little upset. First, the good. Victory tower. Awesome. I pwn3d the rope course, and did well on the rappelling. It was definitely the most fun I’ve had in a while, and I wish we could go back every few days! Now the bad part of today that just keeps going. My platoon just does not learn, so we got smoked tonight after dinner, and it had to have lasted over an hour. I don’t even remember what we did to deserve it, but I know we did over 150 4-count jumping jacks, which is really 300 jumping jacks. Starting this morning my throat has been a little sore, and I feel like I’m starting to get sick. That doesn’t help anything. Now I’ve just learned that I have fireguard from 0100 – 0300, and the PT test is sometime in the morning. So now you know why I’m not in a great mood right now. There are other things too, but I think you understand. I’m praying this weekend is easier so I can take a break and recover a little bit. I wrote a letter to my family with my address, so I should be getting all of your letters soon! (you did write to me, didn’t you?)
