Specialist Johnson, you’re fired. Yes, I got fired today as squad leader. Not for one big reason, but a bunch of little things. The last straw was people forgetting their eyepro. Anyway, today sucked. The land nav was super easy, and not even fun. The rest of the day was kind of land nav but with stations at each point.
Then we have the marches. The first one hurt, but I got through it ok, even though it was mostly uphill. The march back was downright awful. Both were only about three miles, and somehow both were mostly uphill. The way back had some huge hills, and I almost passed out by the end. I made it though, so I’m still alive. My feet really hurt now though. I hear that we have one more march for two miles, and that’s the last one though. I sure hope so…
